Steven has been practicing law since 1982. He is admitted to practice in the State of Utah as well as before the Utah Federal District Court and the United States Supreme Court. Steven received his law degree in 1981 from Samford University located in Birmingham, Alabama and his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Utah in 1977 where he graduated cum laude and was runner up for a departmental award for academic excellence and his participation on a number of departmental committees. Immediately after graduating from law school Steven worked as a prosecutor for two years before going into full-time private practice where he prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases. Steven also served as a Judge Pro tem for the Third Judicial District Court for a number of years during his early years of practice. Steven has also been active in politics having run for the Utah State Senate having barely lost a close election where he was supported by many influential people in the community. In fact, he was and has been since his candidacy the only candidate for any office that received an open endorsement from the editor of Salt Lake Tribune. Since his candidacy, Steven has been active in supporting candidates that are open to supporting lawmaking that has improved or is designed to improve Utah’s judicial system and he continues to maintain substantial influence in this regard.

Steven’s areas of practice include primarily family law, personal injury, probate, contract law, and criminal law. In the area of family law Steven has represented hundreds of clients in both district and juvenile courts throughout the entire state with great success. Steven’s clients have presented with a broad range of issues from complex custody and financial issues to simple visitation and support issues. Steven’s aggressive approach on behalf of his client’s cases has resulted in a successful track record whether it has been in the trial of such cases or in early resolution through mediation where he has had a high percentage of cases settle, saving his clients thousands of dollars and avoiding his client’s lives continuing in legal limbo for several months.

My son (who is a quadriplegic and lives with me) - Robert Hadlock, hired Nate Wall to represent him when his ex-wife wife was going to try to take his two minor daughters to Spain to live in the summer of 2022 without his consent, even though he has joint legal custody.Nate has been very knowledgeable, dependable, and thoughtful of our special needs as he has represented Rob's best interest and concerns in staying part of his daughter's lives. His representation of our family's interests have been all we could ask for.Rob's ex-wife, Denette Hadlock, has written many defamatory "reviews" using several different ID's to disguise who she is. These sites are meant for input from clients to rate the quality of service they've received (or not received) from their hired attornies . My name is Rob Hadlock. Nate has been my attorney now for almost 2 ½ years in an extremely acrimonious case against my ex-wife. As an attorney myself, I can appreciate dealing with very difficult opposing parties. However, my ex has taken things to another level. She has attacked Nate personally and Wall & Wall on numerous occasions in numerous ways. She has written multiple negative reviews using numerous pseudonyms against Nate and this firm. She has emailed Nate directly numerous times making vile personal attacks against him. None of them are true. Nate is not only a great attorney who has represented me extremely well, he is also a good human being. He has suffered all the slings and arrows wrongly thrown at him by my ex and still stood by me. Most attorneys would have walked away not wanting to deal with such abuse. I myself might have if I had encountered a similar situation. But Nate stuck with me and still does. Cory took over my case after my initial mediation when I needed help enforcing and finalizing the decree. He has been incredibly patient and kind, as my case has been long and drawn out. I only have experience with Cory Wall and he does a phenomenal job. He really knows his stuff. I have a very complex case spanning many states that I went to many attorney's about. I can’t say enough good things about Nathan! I was in the care of handling my brothers divorce as his power of attorney as he was incarcerated for accusation from his ex. Before being incarcerated my brother paid over $30k to another attorney who had milked him out for over two years. I called Nathan on a recommendation from another law office. Nathan answered the phone after the second ring. Expressed he was in a meeting and would call me back after. Which he did! (Unlike many others) This is the level of communication and professional Nathan carried the entire way through the case. He was calm understanding and sympathetic to my brother’s situation as well as equally ticked off as we were, for what my brothers ex had done to him on false allegations. That being said Nathan handled his case like a pro. He was able to get the case resolved in about 6 months. Even with my brother being incarcerated he was able get him his fair share of assets and came to agreement on the first mediation attempt. (Where the other attorney could never get my brothers ex to the table). Nathan was a god send. He did what l believe no other attorney could do given the nature of the accusations and the stubbornness of my brothers ex. He even did it while not burning through his retainer kept us up to date every step of the way. He made the process almost too easy. He would send out updates of everything going on and simply say I’ve got everything handled. I’ll let you know if I need anything from you. (Which he didn’t need much from me). I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Nathan deserves it. Hands down the best attorney out there. Never once did I feel misunderstood or taken advantage of.
